How can i find an IP from a website?

Every website takes up serverspace on the internet and gets it's own IP-address. To find that IP-address you can use the "ping" command on your computer.

  • Go to the start menu and type "cmd" or "commandprompt" and hit enter.
  • You'll get a black windows where you can enter MS-DOS commands. In this window you can type the command "ping" followed by the name of the website of which you're trying to get the IP from. Hit enter after typing the command.

This will give you something like the following example: Pinging to nomeo.be [62.213.218.64] with 32 bytes of data.

The numeric address you see in between the [] is the IP address that corresponds to that website.
