How can i update PHP?
Just like any other program, there are different versions of PHP. All of those versions have different or new functions. They also have more optimized features that improve loading times and other solutions for a more stable website.
You can switch to a different php version with the following steps:
- Log into the control panel
- Click on 'Hosting Packages'
- Select the package of which you want to change or update the php version
- Expand the menu under 'PHP version'
- Select the Version to want to switch to
- Scroll down a little bit in orde to find and click on the 'Save' button
