Why is my .be domain not immediately active?
When you register a .be domain, a check wil immediately be performed to see if your info is correct. DNS Belgium does this in order to prevent people from registering domains for malicious of fraudulous activities.
If your information does not seem to be correct DNS Belgium will send a mail asking you to confirm your identity. Forgetting a number in your postal code or phone number can be enough to trigger this event from DNS Belgium.
If you get an e-mail like this, there is no need to worry. Your domein has officially been registered but is not active yet. Your domain will be set active 1 hour after you confirm your identity through DNS Belgium.
