Why can't i transfer my .fr domain?
A failed transfer of a .fr domain can have multiple causes, such as:
- The domain is locked: Contact your current registrar to have the domain unlocked.
- The transfercode is incorrect or expired: contact the current registrar to request a new transfercode.
- The contact info is incorrect: Check your contact info. Correct the info or send the correct info to the current registrar.
The transfer of a .fr domain needs to be approved by the old registrar within 8 days. Once the transfer has been approved the transfer will be executed.
Does the registrar ignore this request? Then the transfer will get executed after the 8 day period.
